CAREER

Dr. Sen started his career as a Scientist in CSIR-Central Glass and Ceramic Research Institute (CSIR-CGCRI), Kolkata and held the position of Chief Scientist since the year 2008. He had the privilege of heading both Glass Division and Fiber Optics & Photonics Division of the institute. Being from the Engineering discipline, the prime focus of his activity was technology development. In this endeavor, he guided the development and transfer of a number of technologies/products and established active collaboration with industries; completing and energizing the innovation chain.
